I created and edited content for the IRD and Blumont websites as well as a variety of publications including fact sheets; program summaries and reports; company policies; briefings for donors, partners and congress; and business development materials. I also managed IRD's social media accounts- Facebook and Twitter. Other responsibilities included managing media and industry contacts, representing the organization at industry events, and event coordination. During my time at IRD, I increased IRD's social media presence significantly, increasing both following and engagement on Facebook and Twitter. I played a key role in developing the brand identity and initial collateral package for Blumont, Inc. I also helped to empower content-creators in the field through more accessible publication templates and website training.
I assisted with college communications and alumni relations, including: writing press releases and news content for the college website, writing/editing other website content, creating/editing brochures and event pamphlets, preparing for alumni events, communicating with alumni and general clerical work. I designed fact sheets for several academic departments, and created/updated a significant amount of website content. I also helped transition the website to an improved CMS platform, and trained other students to assist in this process.
