In my current role I serve as an experienced College Savings Program Investment Finance Officer for the Department of Financial Institutions. Consistently contributing to team success through hard work, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. My background lends in depth understanding of Wisconsin's College Savings Plan administration, operations and marketing. Proven supervisory leadership and successful oversight of a highly technical, complex, specialized financial program. My professional experience includes working on a daily basis to oversee the Plans Investment Advisors, Program Managers, and the College Savings Program Board, to ensure legal and financial requirements of the program are met. Currently, I serve as Executive Secretary to the College Savings Program Board to manage the state's 529 investment portfolio, its 5.7 billion in assets held in a private purpose Trust for Edvest and Tomorrow's Scholar, and its 370,000 state and national accounts pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and federal law. It is my responsibility to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, open records law, and oversight related to such regulations. As an Officer, I approve, review, authorize, and execute operational management and oversight. Through professional affiliations, I represent the program nationally, state-wide, and locally. It is my role to administer and comply with Securities regulations governing 529 College Savings Plans according to the MSRB, FINRA, SEC, and other Federal agencies.
