College Internship My Urban Planning Internship was completed at Salt Lake City Corporation Fleet Management. My college advisors felt that this would be a beneficial internship because I would learn the inner workings of how a city operates. Through my internship I was able to see how the City's fleet successfully operates and what is required to reach that success. By witnessing this, I was also able to gain knowledge on what is required to maintain the city including all of its streets, buildings and parks, all while working within a budget. Although my internship wasn't completed inside a planning office, the skills and knowledge learned about the inner functions of city operation are just as important to the proper planning of a city.
