Experienced Clerical Claims Specialist with strong people and customer service skills looking to explore another avenue within our company.
When I became a Clerical Claims Specialist II I left the mail department and my duties changed. I began learning & covering other people's desks. I would help with or be responsible for the following duties: taking loss reports from insured/claimants, handling general phone calls, cover the ELG desk when needed, opening mail, completing & mailing out of forms for letters, indexing, paying rentals, completing salvage paperwork, assisting with recovery checks, processing & mailing out material damage department's outgoing checks & title work. About a year ago I was moved to the clerical part of the material damage department. I now handle lien holders, titles & salvage certificates, secure power of attorney's, completing MV forms, issuing payment to banks/insured, processing incoming mail and answering the phone.
