  • Model and instill a "customer-service, interdependent, and goal-oriented" culture within the Finance Department, and between other Agency departments and programs.
  • Advise, consult, and communicate with program/departmental directors when implementing new Finance Department systems, procedures, or other changes impacting upon agency program/departmental operations.
  • Formulate and disseminate the agency accounting system's chart of accounts based on agency program/departmental needs, adding and revising appropriate and necessary accounts as needed.
  • Monitor and assure the proper coding of transactions to relevant and appropriate accounts as the key to effectively and accurately accounting for agency financial services.
  • Coordinate, assist, and/or prepare monthly and quarterly grantor reports.
  • This includes establishing, maintaining, and closing all programs in preparation for audits, working with auditors as needed.
