38 years of experience in manufacturing technologies and processes. I delivered strong revenue and profit gains, multi-million dollar cost reductions and sustainable yield improvements. Introduced new methods into the manufacturing process and built stable work forces. I was recognized for expert problem identification, trouble-shooting and practical problem solving skills. I have excellent skills in starting up and running a laboratory facility and I'm very familiar with most lab equipment. I have excelled in every position held and will only add strength, leadership and the sharing of knowledge that I have gained over the years, to any company or team that I'm privileged to work with. Streamlined operations and broadened infrastructure to facilitate growth. I played a key role in streamlining daily business processes and increasing productivity levels. I served as liaison with engineering, manufacturing, and service departments to ensure compliance with procedures and timely, accurate distribution of corporate information. Played a key role in implementing augmentations in manufacturing processes, which significantly increased quality concerning manufacturability and producibility limitations within the manufacturing cell. Designed and implemented processes to produce new products, expanding capability of factory production by 30%. Implemented production line upgrades, resulting in 25% increased capacity. I helped to institute a new product training program; reducing learning curve productivity loss by 15%. I was very instrumental in redesigning existing production lines, increasing annual production capacity by 20MT units. I employed analytic techniques to assess productivity and identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
* In 1987, I came out to manufacturing as a production foreman. In 1995, I was promoted to Senior Shift Supervisor due in part to my helping the company to go through three growth expansions for the most profitable product in the company history.
* I helped improve yields at Tyco Healthcare and reduced cost by finding that we were replacing filter cartridges on our ultra filtration units too often. By bringing it to the attention of an engineer we found the cause of the problem which resulted in a $200,000 yearly cost reduction.
* I started my career at Tyco Healthcare/Mallinckrodt in 1981 as a laboratory analyst capable of running almost any piece of lab equipment from Gas Chromatography, High Pressure Liquid Chromatography to Atomic Absorption. I also have extensive training in cGMP, Hazcom, MSDS and many other safety and quality SOP's.
Planned, directed, coordinated and assigned manpower to efficiently meet production requirements.Contributed to an annual 20% increase in productivity through improvements in operations, quality, safety and administration.Supervised first, second, and third shift operations and more than 20 production and assembly line staff.
Help manufacture personal care products for a fast pace production environment. Principle lead in helping to develop new employees on how to be efficient and to reduce downtime. Innovative in developing ways to improve the manufacturing process. Supportive in developing the team concept.
