  • Company was organized to develop a consolidation strategy in the greenhouse/horticulture industry in the USA.
  • Introduction and development of vertical and fodder production in large metropolitan areas (VF) and farms(Fodder).
  • Introduction of closed loop pyrolysis technology to produce heat, steam and electricity for powering and heating greenhouses and vertical farms.
  • As a result of this biomass conversion process, a secondary product stream called Biochar is created.
  • Biochar is marketed as a soil amendment which is used to remediate damaged farmland and to boost yields for the crops grown.
  • Note: We made a decision to pass on the day to day management of this company to a trusted co-founder because spouse is selling her retail business and we want to reduce our time from 24/7 to more manageable working hours while raising our children.

Grew sales over 300% in 10 years. Converted main nursery to a semi-automated facility, saving millions of cost. Developed processing Tomato market, which fully utilized the Arizona affiliates assets and greatly improved the sales revenues companywide. Set up labor incentive programs in the nursery and field which helped reduce labor cost and improved productivity. Left this job for law school and too assist my spouse in the first few months after having our 1st child.
