I am very committed to any job that I perform and I take pride in everything that I do.   • I was hired as a technician on the shop floor.
  • I was assembler in the mechanical area.
  • I obtained this job duty until May of 2007 at which I was put on a special project in which I was responsible for updating the facilities Work Instructions.
  • I worked under the direction of Nickole Rivers and Larry Green and I learned alot of valuable information that allowed me to be more of an asset to the company.
  • I was promoted to the position of MQ Coordinator in August of 2007.
  • In this position I had to collect data from Production Pro and convert the information into charts and graphs.
  • I had to conduct meetings with both the team members from the shop floor and also management.
  • These meetings where reviewing quality issues and implementing Continuous Improvement.
  • It has also allowed me to grow tremendously.
  • In 2010 I was promoted to the Newberry Facility NPI Coordinator role to be responsible for facility preparations for all new products that come into the facility.
  • Some of my initial responsibilities were to follow the builds, document QIR's that were raised, take photos of those issues, and maintain all records of those issues to ensure corrective actions were put in place.
  • This first tracking database was called DCC and we later migrated to the myNPI system.
  • Both of these systems were new to Newberry and my I was tasked to create the site (DCC) and also introduced myNPI into the facility with no official training.
  • My role was to also make sure that everyone on the NPI team, including the Newberry South Carolina, Griffin Georgia, and Larne Ireland teams, were trained on utilizing these systems.
  • Constant communication with support group team members within these and several other facilities was very important.
  • This would ensure that thorough steps are being taking and completion of tasks was being done to ensure a smooth transition for the new products.
  • This job role required me to maintain a strong working relationship as I was responsible for reporting updates on the upcoming NPI build status to the Facility Leadership Team monthly, during a formal meeting, as well as at least weekly depending on the urgency of issues that had been identified.
