Dear CAIR Florida,
As a senior in college living off campus and who is near graduation, I wish to participate in CAIR Florida to accomplish my class required service hours and to gain a wider and greater understanding of the world, as well as improve my resume. I am a student who is efficient, charismatic, patient, self motivated and has a broad sense of understanding technology and is able to quickly learning how to use new pieces of technology along with adapting to new cultures and respecting whomever may be around me. Having worked for seven consecutive years at Publix Supermarket as a front service clerk and cashier has really shaped my abilities to perform any task fully effective and to finish all my tasks in a timely matter. I intend to commit every week eight hours, with this proposed scheduling; Mondays any time before 4:00 PM and Thursdays any time after 3:00 PM.
Having attended Broward College, I took two years of Health Science and many service opportunities that came with it. Through my community service, I volunteer at Memorial Hospital West as a rehab assistant and the front info desk/discharges. I can quickly adapt and learn any job I had, and since I volunteer at least 10 hours a week, worked at Publix as a bagger and cashier twenty hours a week and maintain a fifth-teen to eight-teen college credit load and still pass, I am very well with time management and getting my work done in a timely order with one-hundred percent efficiency. I also am well rounded student here at USF, as I am currently in the fraternity Alpha Sigma Phi and involve with USF running club. I have also done a semester job, in spring 2014 at USF as a call center worker or as my boss called us, Telebulls. All of these experiences have made me become more adaptable to a new school, to a new setting and easy to talk to. If you would like to follow up with me my email is michael46@mail.usf.edu. Thank you for your consideration.
Kind regards, Michael Valdes
