My background consists mainly of customer service. I have done a lot of waitressing, as well as, cashiering and call center work. I currently work at a retirement home, as a housekeeper, and absolutely love my residents. It has been one of the most fulfilling jobs ever due to the amazing residents I have there. I love people...and have always been a people person. I believe every person you encounter should form a bond, even for that moment, that shows compassion for their needs and wants and having a positive and upbeat experience.
My responsibilities included customer service, stocking shelves, cleaning, and anythinng else that would go into a cashier positio at a quick stop etablishment. There is a sese of pride in doig a good job with what you do for a living..and after every shift..I always felt that.
I was a server for three swing shifts and two graveyards a week. Duties were servig the public, cleaning, stocking supplies, answering phones, etc. Anything and everything having to do with being a server. Loved it as I made good money...and was doing what I do best...working with people.
Server position in the bar. This was a great ad popular Italian restaurant, and I fit in perfectly. They hated me leavig but I was moving to Oregon. DId all the same duties as in previous server job. Always gave great customer service and had a great following of people.
My first job when I moved to Coos Bay. Again customer service duties that go with serving as well as, cleaning, stocking, end of shift paperwork. Customer service of course was the main thing with this job and any service job.
We took inbound calls as representative of Sprint/Nextel. Firt time I had worked at a call center, but it was still customer service type stuff except over the phone. Also computer stuff was majorly included as well since we needed to be in the individual accts. Also moved up to the mentor team where we helped train other employees.
Every employee here started off as a hostess and then would work up to a server. Again same duties in this very fast paced restaurant. Left for a server job that fell through so I was on unemployment for several years after this job.
Working with a elderly has been soooo AMAZING! I absolutely love my residents. Scrubbing toilets isn't glamorous, but being with them makes it all worth it. Duties are general housekeeping in a retirement home setting, etc.
I clean a private rental house for a lady who lives in Modesto, CA. Usually picks up in the summer time but do it all year round, just slower in the winter months.
I attended Yuba College and then transferred to Chico State, where I studied theatre, with aspirations of directing. Got expensive and left as a senior.
I am a proud firefighter with Coos Bay Fire Dept. I work in support and logistics and mainly work on scene with Incident Command and Saftey officers. I love givig back to the community in any way I can.
I have also done our local Neighborhood Watch over here in Eastside where I live.
I am a survivor T.E.A.M member for the National Meningitis Association.
I believe we are all here to help people avigate this journey of LIFE in anyway we can...and giving back in my way of doing my part.
