When I first started at Millennium Park, the managers told me they were going to put me as a cashier to see "how good I was with money". After the first month, they put me in the accounting office downstairs, to help with the daily deposits. My job was to had out money to the employees after they signed for it. During the day while the employees would have the money, I would have to count all the product in the coolers, freezers, and cages. If we we're running low on something my job was to order more product so that we would never run out. At the end of the night I would have to count the concession's members product and money, along with counting all the money from the servers. If they were short on cash or took fake money I would have to send out an email to the General Manager to let them know who took the money and how much we lost. This job was truly a blessing because I was getting paid $16 an hour and also because of the amount of hours I was working.
When I first began working at Burger King, I started off as a cashier. I was a cashier for about 3 months, then they put me to work in the Kitchen because they wanted me to learn how to make the food. About a month later i had my own key to the store, i wasn't a certified manager, but i was someone they trusted to close the store down alone with. After my first 3 nights of closing as manager, they put me on the manager schedule and the employee schedule.
