I started working straight out of High School in 2017 i have committed to staying in my jobs for as long as I can, I am responsible at my job when the time is needed, great at multitasking, flexible with hours during the week, fast learner and communicates with co-workers well.
Working at the cleaners made me more responsible at my job. There were days where I would be alone (in charge) of the cleaners. I would open and close the store and registers and welcome customers in with a smile. I would organize customers orders, put orders together for each customer, and clean the store when times were slow.
Being a waitress at Los Arroyo's Solvang Restaurant has taught me so much. It has taught me to move faster in my job when time gets busy. Keep myself busy and multitask, keep restaurant clean and organized. When the restaurant would get busy you had to be on top of everything and communicate with others when they needed help. I would clean tables, run out the food and be a cashier. At times when we were booked for party's or events, I would help get food, utensils and other items that were necessary together. When I would close in the nights, I would restock item, clean counter, and sometimes do inventory to have everything ready for the next person in the morning.
Working as a Substitute Paraeducator has also taught me a lot. it has taught me to be more patient not just with kids but with people around me. It has also taught me to be more aware of my surroundings. I take a group of kids to help them focus more. I am also a teachers helper, which means i help with lesson plans, take notes to the office, divide and put together kids homework for the week, and clean up the classroom
