I have worked in a few different fields and am always up for a new challenge. I see myself as a very versatile person. The fields I have experience in are child care, food services, and coaching/umpiring. I am extremely goal orientated and ready to make a difference.
The biggest field I have experience in is that of athletics. I played basketball in college and as an athlete I can say I was always the first person in the gym and the Last person out. In high school I was the MVP of my team and received awards for the league we participated in as well. I have received various MVP awards from tournaments and it instilled in me that hard work pays off.
I worked for the golf course as a cart attendant which gave me a variety of duties such as washing carts, lining carts up for customers, taking care of any of the customers problems and helping with any thing the golf pro shop needed. I received a "high five" award while working for helping out one of our HR ladies with moving her office. These awards are a coupon for $5 for the restraunt or golf shop at Ridgemark.
I was in charge of beginning and ending inventory in a concession stand at both San Francisco Giants games and 49er games. I helped make food prior to the beginning of the games and worked the cash register during the games. I would know I was doing a good job through tips and our supervisor would always have a cash bonus at the end of the day for the highest selling cashier which I received numerous times.
I did a few different things while working for the athletic department at Foothill college. One thing I did was help run the snack shack at football games on the weekends. I would make the food, prepare the guests orders, and work the cash register. Another job I worked was running the score board at the women's basketball games. Working the score board for a game requires a lot of focus and the ability to work quickly and under pressure. The last job I would do was working the door for ticket sales. I would handle cash and greet all spectators before the night's games.
I worked as an umpire or the youth softball league in my community. I would either work behind the plate or as the base umpire. I was rewarded through this job by receiving opportunities to move up in age divisions throughout the season. I was able to make it to the oldest age division during the season.
I am currently attending SBCC where I am finishing up all my pre reqs for the Econ/Accounting major at UCSB where I plan on transferring into for Fall 2014.
I attended Foothill for two years where I completed all my general ed and also played on the Women's basketball team for my freshmen year.
