I am keen to apply for a year as a Structural Interventional Fellow in Monash Heart. (Equally keen to be considered for Coronary Fellow)
I have benefitted greatly in a short period of 4 months in Monash. By introspection I am aware there is much to be improved in terms of my skill sets and knowledge. I believe a further year as a Fellow in Monash would contribute greatly towards this.
I am a good team player and have a good working relationship with nursing staff, fellow colleagues and senior colleagues. I am hard working, and have always tried my best to deliver best of care to patients presenting to Monash for procedures.
Monash Heart provides a conducive environment for research. I have been involved a number of research projects (see below) in Monash and am very enthusiastic to do more. Having a full year ahead will enable me to explore being in involved in more substantial projects.
I am also in the process of being evaluated for FRCP in Cardiology by the RACP and would be grateful if offered this position as it will enable a year of peer review by esteemed colleagues in Monash.
