Proficient in assisting with health-care and the well-being of each individual in my care.
Young Adult/Elderly Care
Being a C.N.A. is the most rewarding position I have held. The health-field is my gift and I'm compassionate about each of my persons health-care and well-being.
I assist with showers, dressing, personal hygiene; I fix meals and feed the ones who are unable to help themselves. Last but not least basic house-cleaning, errands and laundry.
I have experience with cleaning and changing a trachea, complete care of an individual unable to do for themselves.
As a C.N.A. I am responsible for the health and well-being of each person I'm assigned to this includes, showers, hygiene and dressing. Making meals and feeding if necessary.
Miscellaneous duties are things such as basic house-cleaning, errands, shopping and laundry.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and excitement of the E.R. Each shift was different. My responsibilities were to admit the person's information such as; insurance and address as well as evaluate their reason for their visit.
In between admitting there were discharges to enter; not just from the E.R. but the whole hospital. I would have to admit a pregnant woman before taking her to the maternity ward.
After admitting and checking that all information was updated I would then run the insurance. If it was a work-comp then I had to get as much of the information of the incident as possible. If insurances would not run, which happened alot then I would have to call and verify with the company.
Last but not least there was keeping the waiting room clean and at times help with rooms in the E.R.
