I started work at Spring Valley as a packer for 1 month. The current manager quit/was fired (wasn't pretty) and all of a sudden I was the manager. There was no budget and no profit. In the course of 3 years I created a budget and although never fully stabilized profits they would range from 25%-35% which was very acceptable. During my time as manager I would order products, verify profit, list products online, pack and ship products that were bought, and create business relationships with representatives of various companies, although not as directly as the owner with the reps of various companies. I had to learn from scratch the entire ends and outs of Amazon's Seller Central, which is the business platform for Amazon. It was my responsibility to keep a high rating with customers and I achieved a 99% customer satisfaction rating.
I was a regular employee and then transferred to the temporary store. At the regular store I stocked shelves and cleaned the store. I helped set up their temporary Halloween City party supply shop that was on south cambell avenue. I was required to set up shelves following a diagram, as well as the setup of the products in the temporary store. I also checked in shipments of items by item number and verified the shipment came in properly.

I started as an overnight stocker and unloaded, sorted, stocked, and front-faced merchandise. After 6 months they needed help on produce and offered to move there, at the time I was ready to not work overnight anymore as well honestly so it was great timing. I learned all of our produce and would help customers with their selection as well as making sure only fresh produce was out and everything looked it's absolute best. I would cut, package, and price produce as well as making salads. 1 year later they were cutting down on the produce department but luckily needed a cashier so I moved to that position. I had to keep an accurate drawer as well as keeping a high speed while checking customers out. During this time I also helped close a store down in Marshfield and managed a small team with cleanup duties. I also was a cashier at two stores for a number of weeks while they had employment issues and was going back and forth between two totally different methods and register styles between those two stores.
I created positive outcomes and maintained monthly sales while working with cold calls and an angry customer base.
I was a member of the debate team as well as running cross country.
I went to many classes trying to see what I wanted to do. I attended my general classes as well as attending welding and computer based classes.
