Thank you for your consideration for the position as a Business Architect. In my current position within the Risk and Customer Advocacy Department, I am considered a Subject Matter Expert across the division and believe my diverse collection of experiences have allowed me to develop a skill set that will be an asset in the Business Architect roll.
I have used my adaptability, analytical thinking, and technical capabilities to become an employee that can not only perform independently and lead others, but consistently meets goals. While working for the Risk and Customer Advocacy Departments at Assurant Employee Benefits and Sun Life Financial, I have increased my knowledge and experience within the insurance business.
While in my current position, I have mastered several skills including but not limited to: building requirements for IT projects to meet the needs of the business, communicating changes to the business when a release has occurred, using analytic thought to determine challenges and find solutions, teaching employees useful skills to increase efficiency, working on a team to test processes for usability, COMPASS troubleshooting and other problem solving skills. My involvement in several testing projects, as well as my proficiency in all lines of coverage and business processes, adds to my qualifications for this position. I am confident that if selected for this position, I will exceed expectations and deliver results.
Further, through my education at Central Missouri State University, I have had the opportunity to lead and teach others in a classroom setting. In addition to my education at CMSU, I have extensive experience in leadership roles both from various positions that I have filled within Assurant and Sun Life Financial and in other organizations of which I have been a part.
