As a maintenance engineer I ensure the building is free of any technical problems by successfully executing any issues that may arise. My duties include, but are not limited to, ability to troubleshoot complex building system problems, perform variety of day to day tasks relating to building maintenance and services such as electrical repairs - replace light bulbs, install and repair ceiling fans, outlets, circuit breakers. Install and activate new switches, phone lines. Plumbing - install bath tops, bathroom sinks, kitchen sink facets. Install and repair toilets, water tanks, sloan valves, sump pumps, boiler pumps. Install fire protection systems. Install and repair radiators. Install air conditioning and repair furnish heating. Install, repair, and replace door locks and door closer mechanisms. Provide guidance to less experienced workers, coordinate work with internal clients to ensure execution with minimal disruption of business operation, and provide input to departmental manager on work progress.
