Returning for my second season for a promotion to Benefits Adviser, I advised and enrolled hundreds of seniors into all types of Medicare insurance plans. My duties included educating seniors in the various Medicare plan types, doing the proper needs analysis, and enrolling them into the plan(s) that best suited their medical needs.
As a coach my duties were to conduct daily outbound contacts to a population of students who were studying online for their Life & Health insurance license in 47 different states. My responsibilities included motivating and encouraging students to remain within a 14 day study plan and meeting the overall objectives of the course through study tips, exam preparation and daily review.
This company is the nation's largest Medicare exchange. I was originally trained and obtained licenses to be a sales person but company needs changed and I was asked to join the Customer Service Team. While taking calls from all 50 states, I educated and provided excellent service to hundreds of senior citizens regarding Medicare products and related issues. Our clients included retirees from Fortune 500 companies who needed our assistance in transitioning to individual Medicare plans from the group plan. This was a seasonal position.
I performed bookkeeping duties for independent designer, handling invoices, taxes and routine accounts receivables and payables.
