My name is Paul Franceschini and I live in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Besides enjoying almost everything the jersey shore has to offer, such as fishing, hunting, days at the beach, snow days by the fireplace, I spend lots of my time trying to help other people. As you will see many of my personal achievements hover around the concept of helping other people or being enthusiastic. As a kid and all throughout high school much of my free time was spent in sports. It was year long football, wrestling, then my personal favorite baseball. But now with competitive sports being gone, I like to spend my time helping and saving other people. You can find me at Chadwick Beach, New Jersey 6 days a week in the summer as this is my job, but to me if feels like it was meant to be. The beach is a beautiful place, but sometimes it can get nasty. This is where lifeguards come in, although many may look at the job like we don't do anything. Yes there are days when nothing happens, no one drowns or comes close to it but this means the lifeguards have done a good job. Some of our action could even be pulling an elderly person who fell out of the wash. When we do have to take serious action its never good. But this is where being quick with decisions, knowing and trusting your training and staying calm can save the day. Knowing the water is also just as important as knowing your training, for most serious cases can be prevented by our whistle. Many different things combat into the job as a lifeguard, the sun, a west wind, a 6 foot swell, people and seagulls. But just be sure that when you think no one is watching the water, that's simply not true because lifeguards always have the water under control. I look forward to bring my skills and positive mindset toward your business or establishment.
