"A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one." In my years with the food and beverage industry I have worked within a variety of establishments, through a myriad of positions. I feel this diversity makes me an asset to a team as I self coordinate while also helping to encourage and teach others. As kitchen manager for a 5-person crew, I was in charge of the day to day operations. Delegating tasks, training staff, prepping/cooking meals, and maintaining order.
During my employment, I was responsible for opening most days. I was both a lead server/bartender, and support staff depending on the shift. My position was not confined to this or that, but instead I did what was necessary to maintain constant flow.
