I found your ad on Craigslist to my convenience because I am looking to gain the experience in veterinary field. Your job post serves as a great interest of mine because I am seeking to explore the different areas of veterinary medicine; therefore, experiencing the full effect of working in a veterinary office will allow me as well as privilege me to gain the experience I need/want for my future career in working with animals of all kinds. I am a student at California State University of Los Angeles majoring in Liberal Studies. Once I graduate this upcoming spring with my first bachelor's degree, I will be studying Biology as a post-baccalaureate to serve as a prerequisite for my GRE. My goal is to become a veterinarian. Aside from giving me experience in the field, I feel that this position will help expose me to the different areas of veterinary medicine and specific specialties I may one day pursue in my future career. It would also give me useful hands on experience, the opportunity to work closely with veterinary professionals and give me a good foundation to build on. My love for animals goes back as far as I can remember. My pets were some of my best friends and their companionship enriched my life in so many ways. I have had a lifelong special connection to animals -- I care deeply about them and have high ethical standards when it comes to the treatment and protection of all species. This level of connection and care has been a huge motivating factor in selecting a career path. Although I have no work experience in this particular field, I believe that my qualities and skills would be an asset to your organization.
