Although I am still a student, I have had the opportunity to hold many volunteer and professional positions which have taught me how to work both with children and in an office environment. I have worked with children both as a volunteer classroom aide and as a babysitter. I aim to support educational, entertainment and home requirements with organized and efficient approach. I am a responsive, dependable and vigilant with highly protective nature. As well as a dedicated student proficient in managing childcare needs for busy families. Always willing to step in and take on additional household tasks. In my experience working in my church office and working as a project leader for my university's outreach program, I became knowledgeable about organizing referrals, offering direct support and orchestrating effective outreach. Skilled at cultivating strong partnerships to advance organizational objectives. Caring Classroom Volunteer with experience helping students develop at individual pace through personalized support in educational, behavioral and social areas. I have first-rate communication and planning abilities with resilient and hardworking nature.
I have experience with volunteer work and community outreach through a variety of organizations. My church youth group has done volunteer work with groups such as the Ronald McDonald House and Rebuild Joplin. The Peer Teaching Organization I joined in high school allowed us to teach younger students in our district about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. The Loyola University Community Action program I joined has a variety of community partners which it sends volunteers to. I worked predominantly with the animal shelter project, and had the opportunity to be a project leader for this during Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters. I also had the opportunity to volunteer at St. John the Baptist preschool during the Fall 2019 semester, and I was able to do my service learning Spring 2020 with Project Lazarus. Service has always been a huge part of my life, and to have the opportunity to work with disadvantaged children, adolescence, animals, people with HIV, people who are transitioning out of homelessness, people who have lost everything to natural disasters, and those whose loved ones are severely ill has allowed me to have a greater understanding of how kindness and support can change a persons life. This is the mindset that I hope to bring to my future employment.
