Outgoing child caregiver with 5 years of experience caring for children while providing encouragement. Great at guiding playtime, and teaching rules. Creative planner and able to keep children engaged long-term with fun activities.
During my sophomore and junior year I took a child development course and then a future educators course. During child development I worked daily with 3-4 year olds for an hour during the class and planned age appropriate games and spent lots of time learning about the brain of a child and their development. During my junior year future educators course I planned lessons weekly for special needs 3 and 4 year olds. After planning my lesson, I would teach the lesson to the class of 3 and 4 year olds. Some lessons I have done included reading a story, creating a age appropriate craft to do after the story was read and came up with unique games to play with the children.
