My responsibilities as an ABH included aircraft fire fighting, crash and rescue, LSE aircraft director training and identifying all american military aircraft. I completed a two year tour overseas where I worked on the flight line assisting pilots and aircrew with parking and handling of their aircraft. I was also responsible for transporting passengers and crew to and from lodging. I was also responsible airfield maintenance, I used a sweeper truck to clear and clean any foreign objects from the runways.

I was promoted to third class petty officer on my second time testing. I received my yellow shirt within a month on deck and was designated fly2 PO by my third month on deck. I was responsible for approximately 30 of my shipmates in flight operations during WESPAC 2002. This was a challenging job that required teamwork, leadership, professionalism and a positive can do attitude. During my time on board the USS Belleauwood I was trained in hand to hand combat, pepper spray or OS spray training and small arms training from the M9 Beretta up to the M60 machine gun. I was assigned to six months temporary duty with the Military police and was a part of the SSDF or ships self defense force 2003.
My responsibilities for the Postal Service were to sort and distribute all mail pieces to the routes they were assigned by addressed. I was also responsible for maintaining order in the lobby by helping the customer with mailing letters and packages as effectively and efficient as possible.
I was responsible for assisting the foreman in the construction and rehabilitation of chills restaurants all over Texas and Arkansas as well as the demolition or many other projects from Texas to Georgia. I was trained on the skid steer or bob cat and the forklift and other pieces of construction equipment.
I started as a chip spinner I was responsible for spinning the oil off of the metal shavings so they can be recycled. I was promoted within two months to forklift operator/ warehouse assistant. I was now responsible for the loading and unloading of the trucks and logistics the packing of outgoing orders and the accounting of incoming shipments. Lastly I was responsible for the semi annual inventory of all of the merchandise and raw goods in the warehouse.
My responsibilities were to provide customer service to residential and businesses by sorting and preparing the mail for delivery and delivering it to the customer. This task required good organizational skills and a very acute eye for detail. Delivering the mail is a time sensitive event and requires the ability to think on your feet and self motivation. the ability to multi task is also required to be effective and efficient when completing this task.
I stared with L'Oreal as a temporary employee working the line. I was responsible for preparing the outgoing shipments. I then transferred to assembly where I was responsible for assembling and preparing outgoing orders for that department. I was responsible for the recycling needs for the entire distribution center. This required training on the cardboard baler and the trash compactor. I was promoted to full time after six months of employment with the temporary staffing agency. I was then responsible for the training of my replacement. Once I was full time as a MMSII I was responsible for unloading materials from the incoming trucks. Moving and putting the materials into their assigned locations in the racks utilizing the SAP system. I was also responsible for replenishing the lines with the required materials in a timely manner and with as few errors as possible. I performed this task with a keen sense of urgency and accuracy. Lastly I was responsible for securing and staging the outgoing shipments to the dock lanes they were assigned to for shipping.
