I'm a very dependable person that takes pride in being on time and ready for work everyday. I have many years experience in manufacturing, steel fabrication and construction, so I'm able to use and maintain many tools. I can also work safely, while still completing tasks in a timely manner.
I started this job as general labor and moved up to more of a jobsite support role. Doing additional material pick ups, taking care of site security, dumping trash trailers. Taking more of the operational work off the superintendent. Moved up to assistant super a year ago.
When I started this at this job the store wasn't open 24 hours and I was the weekend closer, so I also dealt with day end paperwork, setting alarms and locking up.
I worked mostly in the furniture department, so I built all display furniture pieces, set up room displays and kept up on available stock.
I started college to get my A.A. as a machinist. Had to wait for an opening in the program, so I started with a couple prerequisite classes and as many of the program courses as I could take without being enrolled in the program. After four quarters of school, I decided that part time jobs and two more years of school weren't for me and went back to full time work.
