I started Safeway as a Courtesy Clerk, Quickly moved up to Helper Clerk within weeks of employment. I Covered for the dairy manager for 6 months of my first year with Safeway with responsibilites including order writing, inventory control, Product stocking and organzing, Setting goals for the helper clerks. I asked to move to a permanent department where I ended up training to be in produce. I was promoted to Assistant produce manager within 2 years. I gained some serious knowledge in the retail industry through the training and attributes safeway trains into their employees. I obtained some accolades in customer service and accomplished the Produce University training program that is required to become a produce department manager.
I started with FGC as a Cabana employee cooking and serving food for the members using its facilites. After the summer ended I asked to stay and they moved me over to security and from there I wanted a more permanent position so I got into Golf services where I managed the Locker rooms and front desk day to day aiding the members in various ways. I left FGC looking for a career path.
