-Time Management Skills
At QuikTrip, I had many different positions and learned the company inside and out. I started working part time, was the first hire in Charlotte, NC and the first promotion to their Full Time position, Assistant Manager. This position provided a lot of Time Management and assertive skills. I was responsible for the entire store for over 10 hours a shift, making sure that supplies were being ordered according to the companies policies and procedures, but more importantly, providing excellent customer service. Around a year later, I was asked if I was interested in being a CDL driver. I went through their training process and obtained my CDL. The position entailed driving around Charlotte and a few other cities within an hour away. Unloading all the freight at multiple store locations. I came out of the driving position and was asked to do the training program. So I've had many different job titles within QuikTrip and enjoyed learning them all. Helping people obtain their goals is a priority of mine. I enjoyed going into work but wanted to continue my education which is why I left QuikTrip.
