I'm a hard working and proficient average skilled mechanic that excels best in a busy environment. I say average skilled because I havent had the chance at the shops I been working at to do long big repairs. Mainly get stuck doing customer services at the emission shops that I have been working at for years. With that I am proficient at doing cooling system, brakes, charging, electrical, and steering/suspension repairs.
I also have a good attitude at work which makes me easy to get along with. I believe in showing up to work on time and staying busy. Also a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and the ability to learn concepts quickly.
Was in charge of customer service, inventory, and fellow co-workers at the shop I was working at. Technical skills included preventative maintenance, tune-ups, minor vehicle repair ( belts, brakes, cooling system, tires), and electrical diagnosis.
Duties included minor diagnosis and repair on cooling, brake, and on emission systems. Also talking to customer's, changing tires, preventative maintenance, and running the store on weekends as shift manager.
Performed emission tests, customer service, inventory, and performed assistant manager duties. Also on occasion would do repairs which included cooling system, brakes, electrical, engine management, and suspension diagnosis and repairs.
Went to Wyotech to further advance my education to enhance my knowledge and skills. Went through an intense school of study to first increase my skills in chassis/suspension fabrication. This class taught you how to mig/tig weld, design/modify chassis, and design/modify suspensions.
Now they have a new class sponsored by BRP to help teach technicians to diagnose and repair atv's, dirt bikes, side by sides, and snow-machines. This includes powersports specific material: CVT clutches, Carbs, two/four stroke maintenance and repair.
Took classes at UAA which involved in depth training and practical hands on examples of repairing many different automotive systems. This included brake systems, cooling systems, electrical systems, engine management systems, drive-trains, automatic/manual transmissions, and chassis/suspension.
