  • As an assistant manager i was responsible for leading the team into the workshops that took place everyday at the store.
  • I learned how to teach people from numbers of 1-24 in a class.
  • My biggest character growth was not letting very busy days in the classes to get the best of my emotions.
  • So when situations get chaotic or stressful i now know how to stay calm and give directions for others will need my leadership in those moments.
  • My favorite thing about my previous job was making the candles and selling them.
  • I had private set meetings with my store manager in order to partner up with her (Fo lade Speaks) so i can deliver and up keep the store expectations and also finding new businesses to collab with during our workshops.
  • I was taught how to order product for the store but was mainly responsible for receiving it.
  • When we order wax that was needed for the workshops, their was a lot of heavy lifting from unloading the pallet that would deliver our vessels as well.
  • I did open the store on my own but did mostly closing shift for the store and set exceptions for the team to do for the next day.
  • I loved organizing the back room storage and reorganizing the front of the store that was our retail.
  • I ended up being the only one in the store when it first opened but later started to train others on how to organize.
  • I helped keep things in order for the store and to help my Store Manager to find access to anything she needed which falls into my organization skills.

  • Along with cleaning the dine in area and serving the trays to people of what they ordered.
  • Eventually i was trained to cook the fry food and the last thing i was trained on was taking order through the drive thru.
  • If you were placed at the first window then you were responsible for cleaning any of the dishes that came from the kitchen as well.
  • This was my first job to learned multi tasking.
