After 16 years of being employed in high volume collision centers I am not afraid to try new things and go after learning more. I have started from the bottom rung and have worked hard to become the collision center employee that i am today. I have the confidence that I can be a strong asset to a shop whether it is large or small. I love to learn more and help others learn. I feel it is important to not only know how to tell people to do things but be able to stand behind what I say. Gaining the Respect of your employees is very Key to me, and I feel I have done this in the places I have worked making me a stronger employee all the way around. Keeping shop operating as a team to meat the goals that we are all in it for is not always easy and that is the challenge that I like to be involved in.
Wrote estimates and handle drp programs. Learned the parts department f a collision center. Was a production manager, and was acting as next in charge to the manager when he was away.
Was acting manager of a growing splitting shop. Took the position as the second manager who was to be in charge of a small drp program and handled Internal repairs for the complete dealership. In charge of all aspects of the collision shop over seeing 6 body techs, 2 paint/prep techs, 3 detailers/porters, 2 estimators, and 1 receptionist.
Sellersville location was slowly shut down due to the confusions and competition of 2 same owner shops less then 5 miles away. Merged into the one new giant location and took over a drp program that was in bad shape. This program has now been cultivated into a large drp program and feeding the shop over 35 cars a month. I also handle many other drp programs that are shared with the other estimators. I handle 90% of the internal collision center work.
