I work well with customers on a one to one basis. Most of my experience with that was the years with the Harbor Patrol as we communicated with people of all walks of life and origins all year around and administered help in many ways to folks who spoke English not so well but were able to communicate if you listened and took your time. Sometimes first aid was needed; sometimes a fire had to be put out.
Besides typing around 75 wpm, I'm able to fabricate tools for whatever I'm working on depending on what's available to me and overall, I'm a can do guy with years of experience working with people to reach a common goal that is the feeling of satisfaction of getting the customer what they want or need in a timely manner.
Work on various airplane components using different types of adhesives depending on requirements.
Besides paper cutting and assisting on various jobs throughout the shop, I mainly laminated 2x3 inch signage cards for pastries for Starbucks Inc. Also drove pick-up & delivery throughout Puget Sound area and sometimes beyond.
Skippered & crewed a 30' Radon Craft to save lives on the high seas and when we weren't doing that, maintenance of the harbor always needs attention. Also, since we were open 24 hours a day, there was always a need for customer service that was sometimes a challenge as we had people from all over the world and many walks of life. As a customer service person you have to listen especially when English isn't the first language. With patience and kindness you can accomplish a lot of things when folks are in need.
