With a partner, I organized and instructed a seven- week long, studio-based intensive for 10-15 high school students with a demonstrated interest in and aptitude for the visual arts and social activism. The program continues to be offered by the Art & Art History Department at Kalamazoo College.
Works with a team of educators and community leaders to organize workshops, for a 2-day Youth Social Justice Summit to increase student literacy and support for youth lead activism. Introduces social justice organizing methods to youth and local educators in effort to increase interest in community service and social justice.Most recently, I have been able to implement these workshops at public schools in CO, MI, and NYC.
