I was a Chaplain in the US Army. This consisted of much preaching and counseling. Keeping fit was a great part of this ministry. Working with all ages of solders from 18 to 60. Lots of field time. I enjoyed this opportunity to serve our great country through ministry.
Owned and opporated a full Swimming Pool Service. Repaired, cleaned and built swimming pools. Managed employees
Owned and opporated a subway restaurant in a mall setting. Higher , trainees and lead many employees . We were on our way and then the mall sold and remodeled. They kicked us all out while the revamped the food court. I was forced to sell the store so we had money to live on.

Started smeary in 1974. Was there 18 months and transferred due to father-in-law died. Went to Michigan to help Mother-in-law out
After transferring from Origon to help the family I continued to work on my seminary degree.
When I started my Doctorate program this school was only a few years old. It was a way for seminary students to pursue a doctorate.
so we meet while also going to seminary in Oregon. Course work was done but did not get the degree until after I graduated from seminary.
