Special Olympics MD, Montgomery County Area Director with more than 11 years of experience planning, developing and implementing all elements of area programing, funding, design and management for 23 sports and leadership programs offered year-long for children and adults with intellectual disabilities .
Maryland State Director for TOPSoccer - a national ( USYSA) outreach program providing soccer for children ages 6-21 with disabilities with more than 14 years of experience developing and implementing a partnership with MSI. This nationally recognized program has provided a fall soccer league in Elementary, Middle School and High School age groups for 14 years, and is considered a model for partnerships between Special Olympics and private sports organizations.

The Special Olympics are director is tasked with the development, implementation, funding and management of all sports and competition programs offered in Montgomery County. The all-volunteer management team is responsible for all aspects of the 23 year-long sports and leadership programs: facilities, equipment, uniforms, recruiting and training of coaches and volunteers, competition production and presentation, travel and athlete recognition.
As an area chapter of Special Olympics Maryland, the Area Director is an employee of Special Olympics Maryland and as such is a critical part of the team involved in producing and growing a successful state organization - a vital part of Special Olympics North America.
As the Maryland State Director, and MSI Director for TOPSoccer for the past 14 years, I have been integrally involved in the design and growth of the US Youth Soccer Association's Outreach Programs for Soccer for people with disabilities.
I attended Ohio State University where I studied a dual degree tract in art history and scientific illustration as well as a scientific focus in zoology, and graduated from George Washington University with a dual degree.
