Hello my names Roger Glyn Walker but most call me Glyn. I am currently seeking employment as an aquatics manager and have been working in the aquatics field building water parks and installation of slides and play units for over 10 hrs now. I can operate most equipment, have supervisory experience and can do most anything pertaining to the water park industry. I'm someone who's easy to work with and don't mind learning new ways to make the job or industry better for all. I have supervised crews and in the past also have some retail management experience as well that I think could help with this position as well. I feel I could be a great asset to the company as well as provide a great deal of experience to get the park operating smoothly and effectively. I am a team player that knows how to effectively get quotas and deadlines met in a safely amd timely manner and can supervise and work well with others. I feel I can bring some good ideas as well as a good work ethic to make the park the best it can be if given the opportunity.
I have currently been working building water parks and splash pads all over the US. I have operated various equipment, have knowledge of slide and play unit installation as well. I have several certifications pertaining to the offshore oilfield industry, safety training and certifications of various kinds for water park building such as equipment operation etc. Some of the certifications I have may have expired but could be obtained with refresher courses or I could retake whatever is necessary.
Started as a roundabout helping crane operator and intake of equipment coming onto the rig. Worked into a safety training supervisor position where I was in charge of safety practices and training for this on the rig as well as assist with injury claims etc.
Went all over the US building water slides. I ran a crew of guys that traveled with us as well as hired local labor as well. Upon completion I did any punch list required by the clients as well as other maintenance functions before moving to the next location.
Started as a pawn broker and worked into store management in less than a year. I was in charge of running the retail locations of multiple stores and make sure loans, money, and valuables were taken care of amd the employees were trained properly for loans and sales. I was inventory specialist and in charge with the funds for all locations to see that service was accurate and smooth for clientele.
