Worked for almost a year as a painter and sandblasters hand with my uncle while in high school. Job tasks included; masking and plastic covering, loading and unloading sandbags, and regular maintenance.
After graduating, I went on to work in the oil industry as a roustabout. The work included; crane swamper, heavy equipment spotter, welders helper, regular maintenance, etc. After working here, I attended a hospital schooling course and became a certified heart monitor technician.
From there I was offered to stay in the oil field, I became an apprentice electrician, working and attending trade school. While there I did high and low voltage, underground, ground level, and over head installation. Conduit bending, terminations, and instrumentation work. Daily vehicle, equipment, and regular electrical maintenance The job included a wide range of tasks.
I worked 5 and 6 days a week, while attending trade school 3 and 4 days, alternating. Ran conduit, instrumentation, terminations, the job was different every day. Also, I gained the certificates I have while I was working with this company.
New construction and maintenance in oil industry. While doing new construction I was always a step ahead of the welder, and I am great with fractions and measurements.
Worked here as a crane swamper, welders helper, equipment spotter, and even did some work for the city. Also while working here I learned all my ASME-OSHA hand signals.
