I worked at Dairy Queen and Walgreen's. Dairy Queen was really fun because I got to work with my family I started working there when I was 14 and I still work there occasionally when they need help. I worked at Walgreen this past summer and they were decent to work for.
At the DQ we were responsible for making the customers satisfied and happy.
I learned many things from this being my first job. I learned how to make new things, how to properly approach a customer, effectively communicated with kitchen staff regarding customer allergies, dietary needs and other special requests, offered product recommendations when appropriate,
Accurately made change for cash transactions, swept floors and maintained sweep logs and so much more.
I enjoyed working at Walgreen's. Some of the responsibilities will be listed below.
Cleaned and straightened work area, organized register supplies, rotated stock to maintain freshness, transported merchandise to sales areas via cart roller and placed on shelves according to company procedures, worked with customer service to resolve issues, worked overtime shifts during busy periods, unboxed new merchandise, operated cash register with proficiency, assessed customer needs and responded to questions, kept the showroom clean and maintained neat, orderly product displays.
I will be a graduate next year at AHS.
I am involved in peer power partners which is a lunch time group we get together with disabled kids and eat lunch with them.
I play Volleyball and help out with other sports if its needed.
