First point of contact in the office for both walk ins and phone calls, assisting students with paperwork and finding jobs, and responsible for the internship program within the department . Planning and executing department events such as our annual Evening with Industry, Welcome Back Bar-B-Q and End of the Year BBQ. Coordinate travel for the faculty: booking flights, hotels and rental cars, preparing Pre-Travel authorization as well as post trip reimbursement forms. Made improvements to many of our departmental files by moving them into a digital format saving space and paper usage, as well as making it easily accessible to the faculty. Director: responsible for the day to day operations of the preschool and attached Kindergarten/First Grade class. Planned and executed yearly events: graduation, Summer Luau and Christmas programs. Created monthly calendars and news letters for parents and staff, kept the school orderly and never sited for an issue by the state Licensing department. Conducted interviews, hired new employees, and managed employee schedules.
Started here as a Preschool teacher and 18 months later promoted to Assistant Director and then the Director a short time after. Responsible budgeting, justifying purchases, providing tours of the facility to perspective clients, organizing and maintaining schedules for teachers, managing enrollment of 100+ students. Organized large events for students and parents: Thanksgiving lunches and graduations with 300 people in attendance. Children's Director at Harvest Valley Christian Center in Homeland, CA. Provided weekly studies, executed a week long summer event for more than 150 children as well as a Harvest Festival with more than 1,000 in attendance.
