Administrative Director/Accountant II, 04/2011 to Current College of Veterinary Medicine – Saint Paul, MN Provide financial oversight for the Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences. Serve as financial expert for grants from award to closure. Oversee reporting for sponsored and non-sponsored accounts. Determine payroll percentages for labor charging and serve as effort coordinator. Interpret grant and contract regulations and their relation to University accounting procedures, identify areas of concern. Worked closely with clinical trials center housed in the Cardiovascular division. Provided ad hoc reports for division chief including internal commitment schedule forecasting division funds and obligations with a five year outlook. Responsible for reporting to all Division faculty on a monthly basis. Served as Certified Approver and effort coordinator for Cardiovascular division.

Provided financial reports to faculty in four areas of cancer research including the Center Director. Reconciled and reported on clinical trials housed in the Cancer Center. Reconciled chart of accounts across four deptid's which had no maintenance since conversion to PeopleSoft. Rolled out new reports to PI's.
