As an Administrative Assistant, my job function includes the following: Take notes and assign tasks during and after team meetings; Effectively communicate with all seven departments by frequently updating the calendar, keeping track of one on one meetings and updating office metrics. Also, I take pride in keeping the office organized and aesthetic by ensuring we have the proper supplies and resources.
The company culture is about enriching lives, which gave me the independence to decide the best way to help each customer. I had the chance to connect with business owners and introduce them to the Apple Business Team. In addition, I helped facilitate Apple Camp for children, participated in team meetings for the latest technology and product knowledge. Whether I was assisting with an iPhone upgrade or setting up a new device, I never left work without learning something new.
This role taught me the art of meeting deadlines, exceeding sales goals and following daily procedures. Balancing the vault, ATM's and counting cash drawers with the tellers had a low margin of error and attention to detail was imperative. I quickly became comfortable with focusing in a fast paced environment to accurately complete a transaction and find solutions for each client to better their financial success.
Working as a Barista was demanding and exciting. Creating a friendly and positive work environment helped with training new Baristas, expediting drive through orders while helping customers at the window and effectively communicating with the team to assign job duties. A successful Barista is not only defined by how well an order is prepared but how swiftly one can think on their feet and switch tasks frequently throughout the day.
