Helped startup this brand new business.
Learned facets of payroll, invoicing, and workman compensation, while practicing
existing knowledge of interviewing, screening qualifications, hiring,
dispatching, drug screening, and termination. In addition, kept up our 30+ clientele. Completed weekly reporting for companies requesting Excel spreadsheets, while maintaining the organization of the office and keeping
everyone on top of things as well as up to date. Handled 300+ daily
incoming phone calls from employees regarding questions and problems.
Started out at the "high-traffic" receptionist
desk. Duties included: answering 6-line switchboard, preparing interviews, administering
drug screening tests, extensive data entry of all files in to the computer, and
scheduling interviews over the phone. Six
months later I was promoted to Placement Specialist in which duties included: interviewing, screening qualifications, hiring, and termination. Handled the communication
of 20+ clients a week, receiving incoming orders and filling those orders efficiently
to the clients specifications and immediate needs. In addition, handled 200+ employees' questions and problems on a day-to-day basis.
By proving my skills to manage the environment, was then promoted to Operations
Manager, overseeing all aspects of daily office functions.
