I have over 10 years of combined education and work experience utilizing both basic and advanced molecular and cell biology techniques in eukaryotic and prokaryotic systems. In addition to conducting experiments, I acted as the laboratory Approval Biosafety Coordinator at the University of Arizona responsible for keeping the lab and workers (students and staff) in compliance. I am currently an Adjunct Professor of Biology at Georgetown College, which is evidence of my organization and communication skills. Further, I have co-authored 14 manuscripts and 2 book chapters, and given numerous oral presentations at scientific conferences across the US.
