Activities programming for 244 residents of various functioning levels including residents with alzheimer's, dementia, behavior/mental health issues, younger residents, etc. Completing resident assessments, department audits, management reports, department budget and monitoring of that budget to ensure expenditures are within budget. Responsible to fill out and submit purchase orders for department needs. Interact with residents, family members and staff members on a daily basis. Work with various agencies and community groups. Develop policies, procedures and forms for the activities department and update them as needed. Develop care plans for residents, complete MDS assessments, attend interdisciplinary care plan meetings. Manage and direct the activities staff and responsible for yearly reviews.
