Under the supervision of the Activity Director, planning, organizing and implementing the facility activity programs. Assisting the Activity Director in providing an on-going program of activities designed to meet the interests and the physical, mental well-being of each resident.
Assisting with office duties, including scheduling, filing ext. Duties sometimes extended to running the front desk, checking ID's, answering questions and lending recreational equipment to students.
This was a seasonal position I held for two consecutive summers. The goal was not only to direct incoming freshman to the necessary offices and testing centers needed to become Vincennes University students, but also to encourage involvement on campus. Responsibilities included giving tours of the campus, speeches about personal experience, presentations on how to use the campus website for financial aid and Blackboard and troubleshooting login issues.
