I am a performer and team captain with Cirque Du Soleil. I have 19 years of experience at the "O" show. Specialty areas include team management, team building,with performer integration and audition skills. I have an Early Education Associates Degree from College of Southern Nevada, and I plan to begin substitute teaching, then eventually teach permanently in an Elementary School.

Acrobatic and Aquatic Performer01/1998 to Current Cirque du Soleil “O” – Las Vegas, NV
I've been employed by Cirque Du Soleil for 19 years as a synchronized swimmer and also as a character acrobat. I was hired for the creation of "O" in 1998, this took place in Montreal, Canada. After nine months in Montreal, the show then moved into the Bellagio Hotel, were it has been running for the last 19 years. I am a character in the water, on the stage, and also in the air. I have also been the Team Captain of the synchronized swimming team and the acrobatic zebra team for the last year. As a captain I have the following responsibilities:
Teach a range of sport-specific skills in a clear, safe manner.
Act as a positive role model with management and in the company.
Maintain thorough knowledge of all rules, show procedures, coaching techniques and current trends in synchronized swimming.
Develop guidelines for injury prevention.
Demonstrate a high level of respect for management and coworkers.
Act as supervisor for the female performers/athletes.
Maintain weekly reports to head coaches and company supervisors.
