I'm a geninuely nice and hard-working guy. I've had many setbacks in my life but I've overcome them all with strength and perseverence. Thank you very much for your consideration.

Territorial selling of Xerox and Kyocera copy machines and printers. Conducted sales meetings with current and potential clients to assess needs and come up with a practical solution. Streamlined a proposal template that was quickly used company- wide. Oversaw the hiring of 4 new sales reps during my time there, mentoring them for success in a very competitive environment. Top grossing salesman in terms of overall volume and profit margin every year I worked for the company.
Responsible for the sale of sunrooms, solariums, and conservatories to area home-owners. Our product was the exclusive sunroom subcontractor of Home Depot and leads were generated based on this fact. Appoinments included in-depth 3-4 hour presentations to potential clients with the objective of closing the sale during the initial appointment. During my time there, I was the youngest salesman yet I was one of the most productive. I routinely turned in 2 sales per week on a very high-end product.
In April of 2010, I received a kidney transplant from my sister. I took some time off of work to recover from the procedure and in this time I started a business online to help pay my bills and medical expenses. This business grew tremendously and I'm currently still running it with great success. I had every intention of returning to my previous job, however, a co-worker (for various reasons) suggested I look for a new place to call home. 6 months later, my previous employer was out of business. As a result, I put my time and efforts into my own project that to this day has been such a blessing to me.
Part-time employment. Conducted sports-related classes to children age 2-5 at area pre-schools and kindergartens. Reponsible for new sign-ups into this mobile program. Established great working relationships with school directors that resulted in major program growth at each location. My reason for leaving was health-based as my transplanted organ was in acute rejection. I was forced to stop this job and receive dialysis three times per week. I'm still on great terms with the owner and try to help out in anyway possible. I've been offered to return to the job several times since I stopped, even at higher pay but my new schedule precludes me from accepting.
Part-Time position. I work as a club volleyball coach to junior high and high school aged girls. Our practices are held evenings during each week, with competitions a few weekends each month. This year, I was the head coach of a 12-year old full season team as well as a 16-year old half season team. Coaching is very important to me because it allows me to be a mentor to the next generation of female athletes and provide a foundation of volleyball skills and that will help as they pursue their own individual athletic goals.
Honor Roll student all four years.
Letterman in Basketball, Baseball, and Football.
Acted in musicals all four years.
8-time Math competition gold medal winner.
After graduating high school, family funds for attending a four-year school were not available so I took the Junior College route to academic success. I tested into all the honors courses and seminars the school had to offer and carried the most aggressive course-load allowed. As a result most of my classes were paid for by the college and I worked to a near perfect GPA which landed me a full scholarship (phi theta kappa, national junior college honor society) to a private four-year institution.
I received the Thi Theta Kappa scholarship award that paid for room and board my final two years of school. My time at elmhurst was incredibly successful as I made the dean's list each year and worked to a cumulative 4.91 GPA (magna cum laude). While studying each year, I participated in intramural athletics as well as taking courses in volleyball, basketball and weight-lifting. My biggest regret was taking a high-level art course during January term to fill an elective. At the time I didn't realize that figure-drawing meant human figure-drawing. That class didn't exactly work out but I did get a nice story out of the deal.
