Organized and led basketball team in fundraising over $1,500 for the Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Castleton, Vermont.
Created and presented a powerpoint on Substance Use and the effect of the Development of the Adolescent Brain to Parents in the community of the Castleton Middle School.
Worked with a team to develop a Marijuana Education Program on the campus of Castleton University to combat chronic marijuana use.Together, we produced a Rationale, Mission Statement/Goals/Objectives, Needs Assessment, Intervention, Mobilizing Community, and presented our program proposal to administrators of the school, as well as the Associate Dean of Students and a Rutland Prevention Specialist.
