Possessed knowledge about mechanics of small arms such as M9, M16, M4A1, M249, M2A1 etc. also towed artillery (M777 Howitzer) and be highly skilled at identifying mechanical and structural defects effectively for each weapon system while repairing them without any deficiencies in order for weapons to always be mission capable.
The primary purpose is to perform access control work relative to assuring compliance with the US Army and Fort Hood regulations and policies. Enforcement responsibilities include examining identification, inspecting vehicles, etc., and reviewing documents relative to the purpose of the individuals visit when military credentials are not supplied. Sentry’s major enforcement responsibilities are: Deny admission to prohibited individuals; Deny admission to or as sure that restricted items meet various conditions necessary for entrance onto the installation; Detect smuggling of undeclared items to avoid duty or in violation of laws and regulations. Conducts inspections and staff assistance visits with Senior Military Police. Independently make on-the-spot judgments and decisions; primarily applying prescribed procedures. Access Control Point Supervisors will coordinate, as appropriate, with Fort Hood law enforcement officials to ensure that contraband, prohibited, and restricted items, are confiscated and/or controlled as defined in applicable regulations. Conducts close coordination with Fort Hood Garrison Command officials to ensure prospective policy initiatives or modifications are implemented at the Access Control Point in compliance with relevant regulations.
Worked as a Solar Apprentice Electrician and performed basic electricity, mechanical skills, and the physical ability to handle job responsibilities outdoors in all weather conditions and in a team-based environment in order to accomplish projects. Adhered to company standards and OSHA regulations as well as following proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for work site safety, and installed over a hundred solar panels within the jobsite.
Participated in (Operation Allied Welcome) by enforcing staff performance and service standards to deliver consistent and positive customer experiences for over 3,000 Afghanistan refugees. Sought out and implemented methods to improve food service and team performance. Worked successfully with diverse group of Afghanistan refugees to accomplish goals and address issues related to our products and services. Maintained order and cleanliness of work areas to conform with health codes and KBR standards.
