My personal philosophy is that effective and competent leadership is the crux of any successful organization. Warren G Bennis surmises this principle best "Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality." An effective leader must be able to communicate the vision and mission of an organization to its members. Additionally, an effective leader must be able to value and demonstrate respect for individual differences. An effective leader must have the ability to remove barriers or obstacles that make it difficult for teams to accomplish goals and reach benchmarks. It is incumbent upon the leader to provide individuals with the resources, tools, and most importantly training based on the individual core competencies of the organization in order for its members to succeed. With these principles as my foundation, my guiding light so-to-speak, I as a natural communicator, who flourishes in the ability to initiate conversation and develop sincere relationships with individuals of diverse ages, cultures, and beliefs, will aid the principal in surveying staff morale, implementing school culture exercises, and stand ready and able to negate possible challenges in a diplomatic manner. Finally, any leader must continually push and challenge themselves in order to remain relevant and effective as a leader. On a personal note I will continue to identify and pursue opportunities for self-development to maintain, fortify, and expand my leadership capabilities. PROFESSIONAL TESTIMONIALS
